Background 

The client is a global market leader in the processing of frozen fish blocks, fillets, special cuts, and premium breaded and puff pastry products. With modern production facilities in several countries, the company supplies some of the world’s most quality-conscious customers in Europe and the USA, including major multinational food corporations. 

Despite the company’s strong market position, one of its production plants had been underperforming and failed to meet management’s expectations. To address this, Mantec was brought in to analyze operations and identify opportunities for improvement. 
 

Analysis 

Mantec conducted a comprehensive analysis involving daily operational studies, core process mapping, interviews, and statistical assessments. The analysis revealed significant potential for improvements in planning, processes, and overall productivity — with clear financial upside. 
 

Implementation 

A targeted improvement project was launched under the name “3P” – Planning, Processes & Productivity. The initiative was implemented in close collaboration with supervisors, middle management, and the leadership team, with the goal of building organizational ownership and involvement in the changes.
